Born in New Zealand in 1941, Max Merritt is a singer, guitarist and songwriter who migrated to Australia in the early 1960's. In a career spanning 7 decades, Merritt and his band "The Meteors" enbedded his unique voice into a unique brand of R&B and rock. "No one delivers Try a Little Tenderness like Max!".
