Toto MIDI Files Backing Tracks - Toto is a Grammy Award winning American Rock Band formed in Los Angeles in 1977 by session musicians David Paich and Jeff Pocaro. The original lineup included guitarist Steve Lukather, David Hungate, Steve Pocaro and singer Bobby Kimball. Between them, the musicians had recorded with acts ranging from Sonny and Cher, to Steely Dan, to Boz Scaggs. Their self titled album first album gave Toto worldwide recognition until they hit the stratosphere in 1982 with the worldwide smash hit album TOTO IV. The band has floated various lineups however the core band has remained together and in 2009 were inducted into the Rock'n'Roll hall of fame. (© 2013 John Ialuna Biography author)
